About Begin Again Books
Begin Again Books was founded on the belief that stories have the power to change lives; not only for the children who read them, but also for the writers brave enough to share them.
The name “Begin Again” is inspired both by the timeless children’s poem Finnegan, Begin Again, and by the idea that it’s never too late to start over, reinvent yourself, or bring a long-held dream into the world. What began as a personal new chapter has grown into a publishing home for meaningful children’s books and for first-time authors ready to see their stories in print.
We specialize in publishing engaging, heartfelt children’s books that spark imagination, nurture empathy, and explore topics that matter. Beyond publishing our own titles, we work closely with new authors, guiding them through the creative and publishing process so they can confidently share their voices with young readers.
But our mission doesn’t stop at storytelling.
At Begin Again Books, we believe books can be vehicles for impact. That’s why we partner with nonprofit organizations whose missions align with the themes of our books. Through these partnerships, a portion of book sales supports causes that are making a real difference in communities. This model allows us to expand our reach, introduce stories to new audiences, and amplify the work of organizations doing good in the world.

About the Owner
Owner and founder Jessica Schneider is an author and publisher, producing her own books and working with new authors to release books that children of all ages can enjoy. A book lover all her life, Jessica has been writing poems and stories since she was young, and finally decided to make it official once she became a parent. After reading many of the same books over and over again to her sons, she realized there is always room for more children’s books…especially ones that are fun for both kids and adults!
